China Airlines is the national airline of Taiwan. Republic of China holds 54 percent stakes in China Airlines with China Aviation Development Foundation being the parent company. China Airlines was founded in the year 1959 during the period of Chinese Civil War. Currently, the airline is a prominent member of Star Alliance Group and has a fleet size of 66 aircrafts (mostly Boeing). China Airlines has its main hub at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport with other hubs at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, Hong Kong International Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport. Headquartered at Dayuan Township in Taoyuan County, Taiwan the airline covers extensive network in some major cities in Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania.

China Airlines is known for its great Asian hospitality. The airline flies with three classes of traveling-First, Dynasty and Economy Class. The traveler flying in First and Dynasty class enjoy comfortable seating in full-flat seats that are electronically controlled and has backshell divider, personal coat hook, beverage table, book bag, personal stowage, headrest, electrical lumbar support, blanket and inflatable seat cushion. The travelers can further enjoy the trip with electronic massage, 15-inch adjustable personal TV, noise-canceling headset and 110V power outlet. The web check-in facility by China Airlines helps reduce the rush at the airports. All travelers with confirmed booking can use this facility. The travelers need to submit their Dynasty card number and password in order to print their boarding passes and check-in online. The web check-in must be done 24 to 3 hours prior to departure of the flight.

As per the baggage policy of China Airlines the weight restriction for checked baggage is 88 lbs for First class, 66 lbs for Business class and 44 lbs for Economy class. The free carry-on baggage is 11 lbs with maximum of 2 piece limit for each traveler. The overall dimension for checked baggage must not exceed 62 inches and for carry-on baggage the size-limit is 45 inches.
