Dragonair Airlines is the international airline of Hong Kong; with its headquarters situated at Dragonair House and main hub at Hong Kong International Airport. The airline was founded in the year 1985 by current chairman of the company Kuang-Piu Chao. The airline operates regular flights to around 30 destinations in 12 countries and many other regions in Asia through its code share partner airlines. It has all Airbus fleet of 28 aircrafts. Dragonair is a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airlines and an affiliated member of Oneworld alliance. The airline also runs Marco Polo Club Loyalty program to reward its frequent fliers.

Fly Dragonair provides a feel of Asian hospitality. The airline?s First class cabins are renovated to please most discerning travelers. The interiors have prominent color scheme of maroon and mandarin gold depicting the very nature of mainland China. There are 12 specially designed chairs in First class cabin, specially equipped with state-of-the-art lie-flat feature and ergonomically designed to offer maximum comfort. To give it a royal feel the seats further have padded armrest, footrest, swinging cocktail tray and a reading light. To keep the travelers entertained there is 1.4 inches of TV screen with 5 PTV video channels and 16 audio channels from the Dragon on Air in-flight entertainment programming. There is also in-seat power outlet for laptop computer and portable electronic devices. Meals are served in elegant bone china tableware and styled cutlery. There are a-la-carte dining service, with a choice of starter and main course. The in-flight menu is changed every 15 days.

The web check-in facility by Dragonair gives its travelers the power to quickly check-in for their flight. Travelers can also book a flight at Dragonair and Cathay Pacific website and book the tickets by entering their membership number and PIN. The traveler must complete the booking process 48 hours up to 90 minutes prior to flight?s departure.

The baggage policy of Dragonair allows all travelers to bring in one cabin bag with weight not exceeding 11 lbs with dimensions of L=22, W=14 and H=9 inches. For the checked baggage the weight limit in Economy class is 44 lbs, for Business class it is 66 lbs and for First class its is 88 lbs. A maximum of two checked baggage per traveler is allowed with overall dimensions of 62 inches per bag.
