ATA Airlines Inc. is a US based low-cost airlines. ATA airlines was launched in 1973 as American Trans Air (ATA) and provided air travel to Ambassador Travel Club. The airline is now headquartered at Indianapolis in Indiana. Apart from domestic air travel(Home Page) services ATA also operates military and commercial travel flights around the world. ATA airline is in code share agreement with Southwest Airlines, through which it can access 60 destinations across US. ATA has a fleet of around 30 aircrafts.

ATA Airlines maintains a high standard of customer satisfaction through its in-flight amenities. All the travelers, despite of travelling class are treated equally by cabin crew members. There are soft leather chairs that can bend 180 degree for extra comfort. There are cushions, pillows, magazines, books, newspaper, TV screens, radio, games and internet connection for in-flight entertainment. The meals served are freshly cooked with plenty of beverages to choose from.

ATA airlines offers web check-in facility for all its domestic and international flights. Online booking of air tickets must be done 24 hours prior to departure of scheduled flight. E-tickets and boarding passes can be printed once the flight booking is confirmed.

The baggage policy of ATA Airlines allows all travelers to have one carry-on luggage free of charge during their trip. The weight limit for carry-on luggage is 22 lbs with an overall dimension of 45 inches (L+W+H). Two items of checked baggage is allowed with a weight restriction of 88 lbs for First class, 66 lbs for Business class and 44 lbs for Economy class. The overall size limitation for checked baggage is 62 inches.
