The US Airways, with its headquarters in Tempe, is currently America`s fifth largest airline. In 1979 it was known as USAir, but in 1996 when the British Airways tied knot with USAir, their alliance was finally called US Airways. Meals are readily available on flights with 3.5 hours or longer duration. Blankets and pillows are offered free of charge to all First Class travelers. The online check-in for all US Airways flights begins 24 hours and ends 60 minutes before departure. You can check your bags at the airport starting 4 hours before your flight. You can print your boarding pass once the air tickets are purchased online through a credit card.

The US Airways has a time-specific baggage policy. There is one free carry on allowed with two checked baggage. The checked baggage fee for the flights booked after Jan 18, 2010, ranges from $23 to $ 35 per bag. Maximum weight allowed is 90 lbs (per bag) and traveler can take up to a maximum of 9 bags in one flight
